Want to feel more confident this calving season? Join CalvingSmart, a practical, hands-on workshop designed to help you and your team prepare for what’s ahead. Whether you’re new to calving or want to sharpen your skills, this workshop will give you the knowledge and confidence to get the job done right.
You will learn about:
- pre-calving observation
- the three stages of labour
- the difference between normal and abnormal calf presentation
- calf resuscitation
- the identification and matching of cow and calf
- cow and calf care
- the benefits of colostrum
This is a practical and hands-on workshop where you’ll get to practise with a lifelike cow and calf model. Come along to CalvingSmart and walk away feeling prepared and ready to start the new season.
