Hannah Mathes

Hannah grew up in Auckland but couldn’t wait to trade city life for the countryside. She's been passionate about dairy farming since leaving school, inspired by wise cousins who told her that milking cows was the way to make a living.

For the past eight seasons Hannah has worked as a contract milker, starting with two seasons just outside Morrinsville before moving back to Canterbury to manage a Dairy Holdings farm at Mt View.

Her first love is equestrian sport, but she is equally committed to lifelong learning. Hannah believes that the more you learn, the more you realise there is to discover, and she enjoys supporting others on their learning journey.

Outside of farming, Hannah is a proud mother of three beautiful children and is a woman of many talents.
