This practical and interactive short course is designed to help you define what you want from dairy farming and create a clear, practical business plan.

• With easy-to-use tools and templates, you’ll develop a business plan tailored to your goals and needs.
• By the end of the course, you’ll have a business plan you can use – whether it’s for securing finance, job interviews or with your business partners.

Who is it for?

The Write a Business Plan course is for managers, self-employed or those considering self-employment.

Course details

• Cost: Free
• Formats: In-person short course held over three part-days in between milkings. Online short course held over seven sessions. Small class sizes (limited numbers).
• Qualification: Earn the Write a Business Plan (15 NZQA Level 5 credits)

Course requirements

To be eligible for our courses, you must be a New Zealand citizen, or hold a NZ resident visa, or a NZ work visa.

You will be required to complete an assessment to demonstrate your learning. You must bring a laptop (ideally) or device to course days to access course materials, editable documents, and assessments.
